About Digital Hangar

Digital Hangar (DH) is a cooperation between Lufthansa Systems Poland (located in Gdańsk) and Lufthansa Group directly. Our teams build Applications (Frontend and Backend) exclusively for the Lufthansa Group digitalization initiatives.
The DH aims to upgrade the LH Group to new digital business models, innovative product ideas and digital technologies for a digital future. As Hangar, we must research new technologies and solutions from IT market which will also be your responsibility.

Who are you?

We are looking for people with

  • At least 3 years of experience on a similar position,
  • Strong understanding of Angular 17+ features, including components, services, modules, and routing,
  • Expertise in TypeScript, including advanced types and interfaces.
  • Solid knowledge of web technologies - HTTP (status codes, headers, cookies, cache), HTML5, CSS3, RestAPI,
  • Good knowledge of Frontend frameworks (Angular reactive programming, NgRx), single page application,
  • Experience in RWD approach,
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure the application is accessible to all users,
  • Experience in coding using design patterns and actively writing unit tests,
  • Understanding of core design principles,
  • Ability to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by focusing on user needs and behaviors,
  • Skills in building responsive designs that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes using CSS frameworks,
  • Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps),
  • Good knowledge of English and Polish in speaking and writing (C1+),
  • Readiness to work in a hybrid model - 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

Soft skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams,
  • Confidently propose new ideas and improvements, backed by data and research,
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently,
  • Ability to understand user needs and pain points to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
