We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Gdańsk for one of our projects. The position entails developing a strategic middleware platform that will serve all airlines within the Lufthansa Group.
The primary goal of this project is to facilitate the integration and exchange of information between various systems provided by our airline industry clients. Each system connection within our platform is treated as a distinct project, ensuring a highly dynamic work environment.
The technologies employed include Java 21+, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes (all cloud-based). Nonetheless, there is flexibility for you to select the appropriate technology stack for each specific application.

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Java 8+ developer with at least 4 years of experience as a developer,
- Experience with Spring (Framework, Boot),
- Experience with Kafka messaging platform,
- Knowledge of building RESTful services,
- Practical knowledge of design patterns and good practices of coding,
- Expertise in software quality assurance,
- Working knowledge of modern development tools and processes (Git, CI/CD, Maven),
- Willingness to come into the office in Gdańsk at least twice a week or to relocate to Trójmiasto,
- Very good command of English language.
