One of the biggest Lufthansa Data Warehouse system gathers, processes and provides data about: customers, tickets, journeys, B2B agreements, loyalty systems and many more customer related topics. All the above is supplemented by the scheduled and executed flights information. Such enterprise requires many engineers for the realization. The majority of the project is realized in Teradata technology based on SQL and bash scripts. The organization is based on the agile methodologies.

Who are you?
- Commercial experience in Data Processing using: database procedural language (e.g.: T-SQL, PL/SQL) and ETL tools (e.g.: Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle ODI, Kettle ETL, Informatica),
- Min 2 years of experience in a similar position,
- Very good knowledge of SQL,
- Knowledge of Version Control tools,
- Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing (B2/C1),
- Team player with good communication skills.
What do we welcome?
- Experience with Azure (Data Bricks, Data Factory, Synapse),
- Database operations experience (partitioning, index/statistics maintenance, performance analysis),
- General knowledge of Unix/Linux systems,
- Experience with Teradata,
- Knowledge of Python (Numpy, Pandas),
- Knowledge about Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Gathering and analyzing business requirements and expectations,

- Implementing new functionalities based on gathered and analyzed requirements,
- Developing changes and improvements in the existing processes,
- Analysis of exceptional data configurations,
- Implementation of import and export processes into and from the data warehouse,
- Constant documentation of the particular steps and the final product.
