About Digital Hangar
Digital Hangar (DH) is an innovation part of Lufthansa Group that aims to upgrade the Lufthansa Group to new digital business models, original product ideas and digital technologies for a digital future.
As DH we do not aim in never-ending project coding, but in delivering working solutions that respond to Lufthansa Group needs. For that reason, updating our applications on production few times a week in a DevOps spirit is not an exception, it is daily work. Using the newest technologies and services like Storage Services, Kubernetes Services - it is not a WOW, it is a fact.

Why do we need you?
As a Frontend Developer, you will lead the design and development of cloud-native applications using the latest tech stack. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our products, from concept to deployment and beyond, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Expert knowledge of Frontend frameworks (React) with some experience and willingness to further develop in angular ecosystem (Angular 16) or,
- Expert knowledge of Frontend frameworks (Angular) with some experience and willingness to further develop in react ecosyste,
- Expert knowledge in creating application front-ends using TypeScript/JavaScript and related technologies/frameworks/packages,
- Good knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, CSS) and HTTP protocol (request types, status codes, headers, cookies, CSRF),
- Coding using Design Patterns,
- Experience with project management and developer tools (JIRA, Confluence, any CI server, eg: CI/CD tools & repository),
- Experience in working with usability and interface designers (UX/UI),
- Very good knowledge of English and Polish language,
- Willingness to come into the office in Gdańsk at least twice a week.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to take full ownership of a product’s lifecycle, from development to production, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence,
- Excellent team collaboration skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
- Confidently propose new ideas and improvements, backed by data and research,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
What do we welcome?
- Experience with Java 21 and Spring Ecosystem,
- Knowledge of Git, Azure, responsive design, RestAPI and WCAG,
- Experience with Micro frontend - Web components, atomic design,
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager,
- Experience in working in a cross-functional/T-shaped team,
- Experience working in projects in Agile Kanban, Scrum, SAFe.
