We are looking for Senior Application Security Engineers that will help our product teams to deliver secure and state of the art software in the Digital Hangar.
The focus of Digital Hangar (DH) is the improvement of passenger experience throughout the whole journey. The projects that are in focus are Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa Airlines, SWISS Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discovery Airlines, ITA Airways) main web portals, mobile apps (iOS and Android) and B2B platforms. On top we are developing our own R&D solutions within Digital Hangar initiatives.

What do we expect?
- Practical understanding of modern web application setup and security issues and risks behind it,
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of Application Security, software development or DevSecOps,
- Familiarity with CI/CD environment like: AzureDevOps or GitHub,
- Strong understanding of security programs and initiatives like Security Champions,
- Knowledge of security aspects including OWASP Top Ten, secure coding best practices, AI security,
- Open mindedness, ability to work with multiple teams and perform presentations for big audience,
- Very good communication skills,
- English language on at least B2/C1 level,
- Availability to come to the office in Gdańsk 2x per week.
What do we welcome?
- Experience with CheckmarxONE, Wiz CNAPP, SonarQube,
- Script programing language: Python, PowerShell or Bash,
- German or Spanish language.
